Automatic Transmission Drain & Fill

Automatic transmissions work by transmitting power from an engine to the wheels through a fluid medium that also lubricates moving parts and cools the transmission. Over time this fluid breaks down and becomes contaminated. Servicing the transmission promotes smooth shifting, extends the life of the transmission, prevents wear or scoring of the gears, clutch bands and discs, and helps avoid premature transmission failure.

Transmission Service or Transfer Case Service

Extends the life of the transmission, minimizes the effects of oxidation deterioration due to heat and high-speed driving, reduces wear and gear flaking, minimizes high-speed foaming of fluid that causes lower lubrication efficiency. The transfer case is a gearbox found on most 4-wheel drive vehicles. It directs a portion of the power from the transmission to the front and rear wheels.

Differential (Front or Rear) Service

The differential allows wheels to turn at different speeds that enables corner turning with improved traction. The differential gears are lubricated with a fluid that carries heat away from the gears. This service extends the life of the differential, provides protection against rust and corrosion in the differential, minimizes the effects of oxidation deterioration due to heat and high-speed driving, reduces wear and flaking, minimizes high-speed gear oil foaming which reduces efficiency.
